"My practice revolves around community, history, and its retelling within a social setting. I’m interested in the radical potential of history, whether that’s represented through stories, plays, music, or through other media; by which I mean the potential to learn from and shape the future through a critical understanding of the past and present. History is active within the present; how can that relationship between past, present, and future be cultivated and acknowledged through community (inter)action? How can the individual interact with the mass, and not become codified, hierarchical, didactic?"
