Isabelle Carr

Isabelle Carr is an artist living and working in London. Isabelle’s work draws inspiration from our belongings and surroundings throughout history, from Prehistoric artefacts to Contemporary objects and environments. Through drawings, paintings and imagery, Isabelle demonstrates how we can experience and collect, and store and cherish these possessions and places, and how they can provide comfort and familiarity, and act as a vehicle through which larger narratives of ritual and domesticity can be carried.
