Harry Smithson

Harry Smithson is an artist living and working in London. Graduated from Central Saint Martins Product Design in 2018 he is currently studying an MFA at The Slade School of Fine Art, 2021-2023. His work manifests as sculpture and sound installations, investigating the physicality of sound and how it resonates, entangles, and attaches different bodies and spaces. The installations create their own worlds, systems or landscapes pulling influences from traditional rituals surrounding sound and objects, as well as experimental DIY electronic music and instrumentation with imagery from the architectural, biological and technological worlds. He also co-directed gallery and performance initiative fivehundredthousand from 2018-2020.
