Grace Black

Grace Black is an artist from London who makes installations, performances and radio shows. These incorporate mechanical and electrical assemblages, images, instrument building, and live and recorded sound. This work is concerned with social and municipal infrastructure, memory and play, and how these are interlinked. She works mostly collaboratively in groups: as a part of Mosquito Farm, part band /part object theatre with artist Maddie Banwell. As well as Ashley's fit up, a group consisting of artists and musicians who create and score short narrative performances. She also works on an art and play project in an adventure playground in North London.
