Faye Milburn’s work explores writing in an expanded sense, with no fixed medium. Moved by the arbitrariness of neutral forms and objects, she often respond to the language of things in their own vernacular. Milburn finds a humour in the makeshift, and pairs this with an awe for the bespoke in the hope of a pure but clumsy thing.
