Aitor González Valencia lives and works in London. His practice explores the poetic possibilities of objects, processes and stories taken from the everyday. Uprooted from their context, materials and signs are transformed in order to create new narratives. Aitor’s production moves between the liminal spaces of knowing and understanding. His work explores associations with subjects such as the collective memory, family myths, the diaspora experience and childhood.
